Romans 12:1-2
Romans 12:1-2, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Goal of our salvation is to worship God. People worship many things. People worship the nature.
Romans 1:25, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. More than 35,000 people a year make the inconvenient trek to Nepal’s Mount Everest, 4.5 million to the Grand Canyon, 3.5 million to Yosemite, and 30 million to Niagara Falls. Deep down, we crave awe.
People worship themselves.
Isaiah 2:6-9, For You have forsaken Your people, the house of Jacob, Because they are filled with eastern ways;
They are soothsayers like the Philistines, And they are pleased with the children of foreigners. 7 Their land is also full of silver and gold, And there is no end to their treasures; Their land is also full of horses, And there is no end to their chariots. 8 Their land is also full of idols; They worship the work of their own hands, That which their own fingers have made. 9 People bow down, And each man humbles himself; Therefore do not forgive them.
2 Timothy 3:1-3, But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, Worshiping self has crept into the churches now.

How to do proper worship?
1. Thanksgiving.
Psalms 100:4-5, Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations. whenever we worship God, we enter His presence.

2. Confessional and Repentance Songs. When you come to worship God make sure there is nothing hindering in your relationship with God. Sing songs of repentance. Sing songs of confession.
3. Praise God
Praise is the joyful recounting of all God has done for us. It is closely intertwined with thanksgiving as we offer back to God appreciation for His mighty works on our behalf. Praise does not require anything of us. It is merely the truthful acknowledgment of the righteous acts of another.
Since God has done many wonderful deeds, He is worthy of praise.

God is love. God is Almighty. God is Omnipotent. God is Omnipresent. God is Sovereign. 5. Worship. Worship should be reserved for God alone.
Luke 4:8, And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ” Worship is the art of losing self in the adoration of another. Praise is easy; worship is not. Worship gets to the heart of who we are. To truly worship God, we must let go of our self-worship.
We must be willing to humble ourselves before God, surrender every part of our lives to His control, and adore Him for who He is, not just what He has done. Worship is a lifestyle, not just an occasional activity.
John 4:23, But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. Praises can be noisy clapping and outburst of emotional. Worship is done so differently.

And when the burnt offering began, the song of the Lord also began, with the trumpets and with the instruments of David king of Israel. 28 So all the assembly worshiped, the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded; all this continued until the burnt offering was finished. 29 And when they had finished offering, the king and all who were present with him bowed and worshiped. 30 Moreover King Hezekiah and the leaders commanded the Levites to sing praise to the Lord with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. So they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped.
