Numbers 14:20-25, Then the Lord said: “I have pardoned, according to your word; 21 but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord— 22 because all these men who have seen My glory and the signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have put Me to the test now these ten times, and have not heeded My voice, 23 they certainly shall not see the land of which I [f]swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected Me see it. 24 But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it. 25 Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwell in the valley; tomorrow turn and move out into the wilderness by the Way of the Red Sea.” All the promise of God are Not personal. Some of the promises are for community.
For communal, For generation, For the nation, For global, and For universal to fit the purposes of God. God is not here to put a smile on your face. God promises are there, and God will fulfil at His will. The promises were given before you were born, and it will be there after you had gone from this earth.
Sometime the promises are fulfilled only in the next generation.
Hebrews 11:13, These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Israel history up to Numbers 14. About to enter the promised land yet they did not because of their mistakes.
1. Reason without revelation. The 10 spies report was true. No denying the problem. There are many enemies are there. They are giants. Doctors report is true. Losing the job is real. Marriage is falling apart is true. No denying the truth and acting it out like everything is fine.
Did you ask God for the revelation about what the Lord is doing?
Hosea 4:6, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
Isaiah 5:13, Therefore my people have gone into captivity, Because they have no knowledge; Their honourable men are famished, And their multitude dried up with thirst.
Proverbs 29:18, Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law. 2. Hope lost when you forget.
God did part the red sea! God fed them Manna! God gave water to drink in the wilderness. God had done great work in the past and He is still the same. Tamil history is very important. People from Sri Lanka don’t forget how God brought you out of the land supernaturally.

Psalms 77:11, I will remember the works of the Lord; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old.
The entire book of Deuteronomy message is only one thing.
Everything will happen in the promise land will be supernatural, but it will look like natural, but you don’t forget the Lord your God. 3. Pursue the Promise. 10 spies saying the presence of the enemies.

God will do what He had promised but you need to do what you are supposed to do! If you don’t put your foot, then the water won’t stop.
Why? God promised He will be with you!
Exodus 3:12, So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”
Joshua 1:5, No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. 4. Evidence to shape their Faith.
Numbers 13:23-25, Then they came to the Valley of Eshcol, and there cut down a branch with one cluster of grapes; they carried it between two of them on a pole. They also brought some of the pomegranates and figs. 24 The place was called the Valley of Eshcol, because of the cluster which the men of Israel cut down there. 25 And they returned from spying out the land after forty days. Two people have to carry the grapes by a pole.
They stayed there for 40 days in the enemy area, and they are back now. Same God will take care of them. Look at your life!
Take a look at your home. Where is your faith? Is your faith is grounded on the Lord God?
