Priority- Preach the Word

2 Timothy 2:15, A Pastor/Leader must handle the Word of truth accurately and carefully.
John 17:17, Because only the Word of God will make them like Jesus Christ.
Joshua 1:8, Opposite of not studying the word of God has its own danger.
Hosea 4:1- 6, Whereas the people of the old Testament were commanded by

God to teach the Word of God.

Deuteronomy 5:29,
Nehemiah 8:8, Teach them so that they understand and obey them. Great commission by Lord Jesus Christ,
Matthew 28:18-20,

John 14:15, So, the people of God need to know that the Word of God only will keep them safe.

All comfort, all encouragement, all nourishment—everything— comes from the Word.

The Spirit of God works

The Word and the Spirit are inseparable in terms of ministry. The Spirit is the One who breathed out the very Word of God through the human instruments who wrote it.

2 Timothy 2:6, You sow and wait patiently not knowing what will happen. Patience is the key! Jesus commanded Peter to do only one thing after His resurrection and in the restoration of himself.

Ask yourself these questions

1. Are you a diligent student of the Word of God?

2. Is the message from the Word of God able to articulate

its teaching?

3. Are loyal and faithful to that message in your life? 4. Have you applied this message in your life?

5. Are actively involved in training and equipping of

additional teachers?

6. Have you heard the Lord's call and willing to join in the

battle no matter what the cost? 7. Are you willing to suffer the battle for truth involved?

8. Have you set apart from the world and its activities so

that you will have a single-minded commitment?

9. What is your concern? Gaining Christ's approval and not

man's?

10. Are you self-disciplined, willing and able to conform

your life to God's standards without letting up all the way to the end? 11. Above everything is your desire is to win His approval?

12. Are you motivated by future reward rather than present

pleasure?

13. Eager to be accountable to God for His approval and

inspection on your work?

14. Are you careful to handle His Word without error or

distortion?

15. Committed to talk little and study much?

16. Are you available, ready?

17. Have you distanced myself from false teaching? 18. Willing to submit to His will to doing yours?

19. Are you possessing the right spirit no matter what

happens to you?

20. Faithful to the call?
